WHO WE ARE
Cherryville High School (CHS) has a proud tradition of excellence, symbolized by the Ironmen
mascot which represents courage in the face of all obstacles and adversity. Currently, schools are
confronted with significant challenges in the form of budget restrictions – and CHS certainly has
its share. The Cherryville High School Education Foundation (CHSEF) is committed to keeping the Ironmen tradition alive in spite of these funding challenges. Our goal is to create a better future for
Cherryville High School students and graduates by forging ahead in the true spirit of school: with
unyielding fortitude, optimism and unity.
HOW WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Funded by support from dedicated alumni and other generous donors in our
community, the Foundation ensures that Cherryville High School students and teachers will continue to have the leading-edge programs and resources that our school deserves. CHSEF fosters academic excellence through teacher grants, classroom technology upgrades and many other innovative programs. Through our ongoing efforts, we are ensuring that the Ironmen
tradition can remain as proud and strong as ever.
